Oct 15th - Elder Dad

Dear Family,

This week has been a pretty good week. We have transfers tomorrow and I will be training a new missionary from the MTC! I am excited but also very nervous at the same time. I ripped one of my shirts yesterday when I stretched my arms, so it is good to know that new shirts are coming my way. I think that it would probably be best if you just sent me the same brown shoes I have so I don't have to spend extra money and take time to look. The only bad thing about Elder Murray's life right now is that I am feeling sick, but I don't have time and can't afford to stop working, so I won't. Hopefully I get better soon.

This week I got to go to a baptism for 5 people from the stake that turned 8 which was pretty cool. One of the kids was from our ward.

We helped an elementary school set up for a carnival that they were having which was western themed. That was pretty fun. I got to carry a big bale of hay and set up some games and stuff.

We had dinner this week with both the Stake President and the Bishop which was pretty cool because I haven't actually had dinner with either of them since I have been here.

Not a whole lot else happened this week. One night a lady took us to this sushi place called Healthy Japan which was some pretty good food. Seriously I mostly just did missionary work this week with the usual lot of planning and visiting people.

I was excited to study some of the general conference talks this week and listen to the words of our living prophet and his apostles on the earth today. I know that the church is true and that we have the real teachings of Jesus Christ on the earth. I am sorry if my email was not super great this week, I am not feeling so well. I love you all have a great week.

Love,
Elder Murray
